Zipp's 3ZERO MOTO carbon 27.5 enduro/trail wheel is inspired by moto to provide riders with the control and durability required for pure trail speed. This wheel and its MOTO Technology have already been proven by multiple victories in the Enduro World Series with our pioneering partnership with the Lapierre Zipp Collective.
While other wheel brands limit their focus to traditional box-section rim designs, Zipp engineers—uninhibited by legacy technology—took a different approach. They looked to motorsports as a model. Zipp's Moto Technology's single-wall rim is the optimal approach for an enduro/trail wheelset. The resulting rim provides something we call "ankle compliance." Imagine a runner rounding a sharp turn, the ankle naturally flexing to maintain grip as the runner leans. The 3ZERO rim can locally flex to stay parallel to the ground during cornering, increasing traction like a human ankle adjusts while running. This ability to twist locally allows it to deflect during single bead impacts without the rider getting bounced offline. 3ZERO MOTO helps you take the most direct route, saving seconds when and where they count most.
At the center of the 3ZERO MOTO is the ZM2 hubset. This German-engineered hubset features improved seal design for better durability on rough terrain.
Quarq's TireWiz is an add-on option for 3ZERO to dial in your pressure for an even more compliant ride.

Zipp's 303 Firecrest Tubeless wheels are designed for the real world—a world of imperfect conditions, varying road surfaces, and elements where the bottom line is simple: efficiency = speed. They're faster, lighter, and more capable over varied terrain—whether the surface is pavement in all its conditions or no pavement at all.
Deeply rooted in Zipp's drive to conquer the Spring Classics, the new 303 Firecrest is remade with a purpose-made approach for the demands of modern road bikes. When it comes to going fast on a bicycle, efficiency means reduced wind resistance, rolling resistance, rider fatigue, and weight. The 303 Firecrest Tubeless Disc-brake was designed using real-world direct measurements (vs. primarily wind tunnel or computer simulation). The results were huge. Its rim is slightly more bulbous in design than its predecessor, with a 32mm outside width, a 25mm internal width, and a 40mm rim depth. The profile provides low drag and an improved transition between rim and tire, boosting aero efficiency on the road. The wide rim stance also features less tire deflection for reduced rolling resistance. The combination of the wider tire, increased tire volume, and lower tire pressure helps to reduce rider fatigue by smoothing out the ride over imperfect pavement and road conditions—the tire and wheel system absorbs the shaking, not the rider.
The 303 Firecrest Tubeless wheels are for dedicated cyclists who aspire to the latest in technology. They're for those who compete in races, against peers, or simply to conquer personal limits.

Zipp makes the impossible possible with their 303 Firecrest Carbon Disc Brake wheels—they're equally at home on the flats as they are in the mountains. The 45mm-deep rims slice through the wind more efficiently than even many deep-section wheels thanks to their 28.5mm-wide dimpled rims. And, by creating a seamless junction between the rim and tire, the increased width further reduces drag. The 303s climb with the best and re-accelerate out of corners like rockets since they barely register on the scale, which makes them a must-have on undulating terrain. The extra wide rim also allows running wider tires at a lower pressure, which boosts ride quality and comfort and reduces rolling resistance. Zipp's 77D/177D disc hubs gives you incredible stopping power in wet and dry conditions alike, and they're thru-axle compatible (sold separately) for jaw-dropping steering precision and power transfer. You also get Sapim's outstanding CX-Ray spokes.

Road bikes are ever evolving and ever inspiring. The Zipp 404 Firecrest Carbon Clincher Disc brake wheelset offers cyclists everywhere the opportunity to experience superior braking and stopping power to match the speed and stability of their most popular and versatile 58mm rim depth. Aero has never been so affordable and attainable.
Zipp’s 404 Firecrest Carbon Clincher Disc brake is all about road riding and racing. In use at the highest levels of professional peloton, disc brakes are poised for growth in road riding and racing and triathlon. The consistency and power of disc brakes provides precision modulation and stopping power, literally at your fingertips. As for speed, the 404 Firecrest is where the Firecrest Revolution began. If you had to choose just one wheel, the 404 Firecrest should be your choice. With a depth and shape proven in all conditions, it’s a classic all-around performer and the standard by which all other wheels are measured. Its 58mm rim depth is a classic all-around performer that has carried athletes to victory in every kind of event and situation.
All of that, combined with the performance of disc braking, make the 404 Firecrest Disc-brake an ideal choice for today’s style of road riding and gran fondos with long descents, super technical courses and varied road surfaces. Zipp’s expansion of its lineup of disc-brake wheelsets is at the forefront of a technical renaissance of road cycling. Zipp initially developed its disc-brake wheelsets at more shallow rim depths with the 303 and then 202 Firecrest Disc brake for use in cyclocross, gravel and mixed-surface road riding. Now, the era of road disc braking has arrived.
Firecrest technology, with rims that maintain a near-constant width almost all the way to the spoke bed, is the first aero profile that effectively controls airflow around the back half of the wheel. Firecrest wheels offer stable, predictable handling at every wind angle by moving the center of pressure—what they call aero balance—the focal point of side forces on the rim—to its optimal location near the steering axis. A wider rim built using a proprietary resin system and manufacturing process, increases lateral stiffness for sprinting and cornering yet offers greater vertical compliance for more control, comfort, and durability on rough surfaces.
At the center of the 404 Firecrest Disc brake is the durable and versatile 77/177D hubset, which offers options for riders to switch wheels from quick-release to thru-axle without tools. The XDR Driver body option allows for expanded cassette ranges including a 10-42.
About the 77/177D hubset:
- Bearing preload precision set—that means no pre-load adjustment is needed.
- Improved bearing protection and sealant.
- Includes Zipp Tangente quick-release skewers with a wider more ergonomic handle to provide more leverage for opening and closing. When closed, the lever contours neatly with the frame.
- Thru-axle compatible. Comes with thru-axle end caps that can be swapped by hand:
- Front: 12x100mm & 15x100mm
- Rear: 12x135mm & 12x142mm
- Proprietary flange geometry and spoke hole attachment pattern with Sapim CX-Ray spokes to optimize torsional and lateral stiffness without sacrificing weight or robustness.
The 404 Firecrest Disc-brake comes with a standard 10/11 speed driver body for SRAM/Shimano or for Campagnolo, allowing you to run a wide range of cassettes. For those looking for a wider gear range, or tackling especially extreme terrain, a SRAM XDR driver body for 177D (sold separately) is easily installed to allow for more cassette options. A 1.85mm spacer is included with the XD driver body and is required for use on the 177D hub. XDR driver body compatible with 11-speed cassettes only.
- Each wheel includes 2 sets of Zipp thru-axle end caps, 1 Zipp Tangente quick release, 1 Zipp rim tape 700c x 20mm and 1 Zipp core valve extension per wheel.
